Miguel Cabrera made history Tuesday night when he clobbered a three-run home run against the Miami Marlins, the team that signed the two-time American League MVP out of Venezuela at age 16.

Not only did the Detroit Tigers superstar grab sole possession of 49th on the all-time homer leaderboard with his fifth-inning blast, the 425th of his career, but it also made Cabrera just the 12th active player to go deep against all 30 MLB teams, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Cabrera, a 10-time All-Star, spent the first half-decade of his career with the Marlins, helping them to a World Series championship as a rookie in 2003 while hitting .313/.388/.542 (143 OPS+) with 138 homers in 720 games in Florida.
