Pham makes catch after using hat to block sun

MLB.com

One day after a fan stormed Safeco Field mid-play, St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tommy Pham gave the crowd in Seattle another rare moment they probably haven't seen before.

With a runner on and two outs in the seventh, Pham helped protect his team's two-run lead with one of the most creative plays of the season. As the Cardinals center fielder chased down Chris Iannetta's fly ball to deep left-center, Pham removed his cap and used it to block out the sun while maintaining his route to the ball, and making the inning-ending grab.

Now that's heads up.
