Harper using lucky clover bat against Harvey

MLB.com

Matt Harvey might be struggling to find his form this season, but he still has Bryce Harper's number. The reigning MVP is hoping a good-luck decal is all he needs to reverse that trend.

Harper, who entered Tuesday's contest with the New York Mets hitting a career .045 against Harvey, was spotted during his first-inning at-bat sporting a four-leaf clover decal on his bat. It's the latest fashion statement from the Washington Nationals superstar, who's also used "Make baseball fun again" and "100" emoji stickers on his bat this season.

The Mets have long been a thorn in the side of Harper, who owns a career slash line of .197/.283/.385 against current New York pitchers. Despite his much-discussed struggles this year, Harvey's been particularly hard on Harper, limiting the Nationals slugger to one hit in 23 at-bats, including Tuesday's first-inning ground out.
