Nationals Park sprinklers go off after rain delay

The Washington Nationals taught everyone a pretty good lesson on redundancy Monday night.

Rain delayed the start of the team's series opener against the New York Mets by over an hour, so players and fans were antsy to get underway once the weather cleared up.

Except someone forgot to tell the Nationals' grounds crew there was enough water already on the field:

Thankfully, no further delay was needed for the wet mishap.
