Braves-Cubs postponed due to inclement weather

For the second time in a matter of days, weather has stopped baseball at Wrigley Field, as the Chicago Cubs' contest against the Atlanta Braves Saturday has been postponed due to inclement weather.

This weekend was scheduled to be the Braves' only visit to Wrigley Field in 2016. They are, however, returning to Chicago for a series against the crosstown White Sox in July.

According to David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Saturday's game has been tentatively rescheduled to July 7 - a scheduled off-day for both clubs, and the day before the Braves-White Sox series begins.

Both teams will push their scheduled starters for Saturday - John Lackey for the Cubs, Julio Teheran for the Braves - back a day to start Sunday's series finale.
