Bautista shows up at Raptors game after Blue Jays' win

Jose Bautista capped a busy "off day" by getting the VIP treatment at Friday's Game 6 between the Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Bautista was spotted courtside in the fourth quarter with Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban, barely an hour after performing guest PA duties for the Blue Jays game. It was all part of a whirlwind day for Toronto's slugger, who was serving his one-game suspension from the May 15 brawl with the Rangers.

Shortly after being informed that his suspension appeal was denied, Bautista took to Twitter in search of a ticket to Friday's pivotal playoff game. Subban obliged - under one condition: that Bautista flip his bat during Saturday's game against the Red Sox.

During media availability before Friday's game, Bautista ripped MLB for upholding his one-game ban, saying the league owed fans an explanation for depriving them of watching him play. After the Blue Jays' 7-5 win over the Red Sox, Bautista was back in the spotlight, rubbing elbows with a who's who of celebrities at the Air Canada Centre.
