Galatasaray signs Real Madrid midfielder Jose Rodriguez Martinez

Turkish outfit Galatasaray has bolstered its midfield with the signing of 20-year-old Jose Rodriguez Martinez, the club announced Friday.

Rodriguez, a Spanish U-21 international midfielder, came through the Real Madrid youth ranks but spent last season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna. Madrid reportedly retains 30 percent of the profits of any future sale of Rodriguez.

Real Madrid will get €250,000 up to four times for every 30 official matches that Rodriguez starts in, with a €10-million buy-back option at the end of the 2017-18 season.
