Report: Manchester City's Edin Dzeko agrees to personal terms with Roma
Edin Dzeko has agreed to personal terms with Italian outfit Roma and is set to depart from Manchester City, reports Sky Sports News.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has been linked with a move away from the Etihad throughout the summer window, but reports on Thursday say the striker is close to a move to the Italian capital. The two teams have yet to agree on a transfer fee for Dzeko though.
Dzeko, 29, joined Manchester City in 2011 and has made nearly 200 appearances for the club in that time. But he only featured in 22 matches last year, starting 11, and scored six goals in all appearances in 2014-15.
With Manchester City signing Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling for a whopping £44-million, Dzeko fell further down the depth chart and his potential sale would allow the club to recoup some of that investment.
