Pep Guardiola will have to beat Luis Enrique and Chile boss Jorge Sampaoli in order to win the honour of being named the FIFA World Coach of the Year for a second time.

The Bayern Munich manager was announced as a finalist alongside his former teammate and current Barcelona coach. The pair of successful coaches, however, will face tough competition from Sampaoli after his efforts helped Chile capture the Copa America on home soil.

It's the first time Enrique and Sampaoli have been named among the trio of finalists for the award since its creation in 2010. Meanwhile, Guardiola makes the shortlist for the first time as Bayern Munich manager following three nominations during his time in charge of Barcelona.
