Paul Pogba is reportedly one step closer to dabbing at Manchester United.

According to the Guardian's Fabrizio Romano and Marcus Christensen, United is close to finalising a deal that will see the Red Devils purchase Pogba from Juventus for £92 million. The English club will apparently also have to pay the French midfielder's agent, Mino Raiola, up to £18.4 million for the deal to be completed.

United's first offer for Pogba was said to be valued at £87 million plus add-ons, but was rejected during a meeting between the Red Devils' vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, two of Juventus' directors, and Raiola.

The difference between United's first and second offer reportedly lies in Raiola's fee, which is believed to be valued at 20 percent, or £18.4 million. The Red Devils apparently agreed to pay half of the fee if the transfer was valued at £87 million plus add-ons, but Juventus is demanding that the English club pay the entirety of it in order for the deal to be completed for £92 million.

While it was reported Wednesday that Real Madrid had contacted Juventus in an attempt to hijack the transfer, United and Raiola are confident Pogba will head to Old Trafford.

Pogba tallied eight goals and 12 assists through 35 Serie A appearances last season, and subsequently played a significant role in France's run to the final of Euro 2016 on home soil, starting five of Les Bleus' seven fixtures and scoring in their 5-2 thrashing of Iceland in the quarter-finals.
