Schalke announce signing of 17-year-old Christian Rubio Sivodedov

Schalke have secured the services of one of Swedish football's most up-and-coming midfielders.

Sivodedov, 17, arrives at the Veltins-Arena from Swedish club Djurgardens IF, where he was already making first-team appearances and drawing attention from a number of European sides.

The teenager will join Schalke on a three-and-a-half-year deal that will keep him at the club until June 2018.
